Bibliothek im August is a dedicated space for people to meet and exchange ideas. Open throughout the festival, its collection includes books suggested by the artists involved in Tanz im August 2016. We have asked the artists to name three volumes that they believe can serve as reference books to their work and vision. The books serve as a kind of footnote to provide additional information on the artists and their work presented in the program. We will also promote a number of newer books on dance through a series of author events. Tanz im August-librarians will be available in the library to advise visitors during the open hours.
